It's a good trade.
It's a terrible trade.
Fans took their sides Saturday, weighing in after veteran Kings point guard Mike Bibby was traded to Atlanta in exchange for Anthony Johnson, Tyronn Lue, Lorenzen Wright and Shelden Williams and a 2008 second-round draft pick.
Fans spoke out at area sports bars and on Internet Web sites, trying to gauge what effect the trade will have and which team, in short- and long-term scenarios, got the better deal.
"Billy (Knight, Hawks general manager) must have gone to the Maloof's casino and won big, and they're paying him in playas," wrote one person on the Atlanta Journal Constitution's comments page.
On Kingsfans.com, a poster wrote: "On its own this deal isn't very exciting, but it could open up some things for the future."
So, was it a good trade?
A terrible trade?
