Ancil Hoffman: Overall condition good. Rough almost nonexistent. Work ongoing on back tees Nos. 7, 8.
Castle Oaks: Fairways, greens in excellent shape, but aerification looms. Tee boxes punched already.
Cherry Island: Greens surprisingly slow. Rough almost impossible in the old environmental areas.
Empire Ranch: Rough tall, thick and the ball sits down. Greens ultra firm on approach, true when putting.
Haggin Oaks: MacKenzie continues along nice overall. Greens more consistent, some even a little slick.
La Contenta: Tee, fairway conditions make it worth the drive. Greens a little grainy but rolling true.
Wildhawk: Fairways superb/tight. Rough difficult but not impossible. Greens trend toward slow, grainy.
Wildhorse: Grass types in greens all over the map. Maybe the prevailing wind spreads the seeds. Greens hard, considering they were punched five weeks ago. Fairways, tees, rough all good.
Aerified greens this week: Bass Lake, Davis, The Ridge, Teal Bend, Woodcreek.
Aerified greens last week: Auburn, Plumas Lake, Timber Creek, Turkey Creek, Wild Wings.
Scheduled to aerify greens next week: Ancil Hoffman, Antelope Greens, Castle Oaks, Cordova, Haggin Oaks (MacKenzie), Lincoln Hills (Orchard), Lockeford Springs, Mather.
