Darren Oliver, pitcher, Angels: Oliver isn't showing signs of aging. The 37-year-old reliever has allowed 17 runners in 16 innings, and he has a 2.81 ERA and six holds.
Joe Thurston, second base, Pawtucket: He has gone 13 for 39 (.333) in his past 10 games, raising his batting average to .284.
Steve Andrade, pitcher, Montgomery: Southern League opponents have a .111 batting average against the 6-foot-1, 260-pounder. He hasn't allowed an earned run in 10 2/3 innings this season.
David Hernandez, pitcher, Bowie: The Cosumnes River product has struck out 46 batters in 36 1/3 innings (11.4 per nine innings).
Bill Rhinehart, first base, Hagerstown: Rhinehart has 10 hits (including three home runs) in his past 21 at-bats (.476). He has 31 RBIs in 31 games this season.
