Published: Friday, Jun. 13, 2008 | Page 2B

ROSEVILLE – A $500 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of vandals who cut down 21 trees in and around the Roseville High School quad late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

Roseville Joint Union High School District joined with Roseville Crime Stoppers to offer the reward, a police news release said.

The trees, which had been planted recently during a major campus landscaping project, were sawed down. School officials estimated the loss at nearly $10,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916) 783-7867 or the Roseville Police Department Investigations Unit at (916) 774-5070.
