City fire investigators said Sunday that they haven't determined what started a fire in the computer lab at Leonardo da Vinci Middle School in Sacramento's Hollywood Park.

Sacramento Fire Capt. Jim Doucette said it would be several days before investigators know the cause of the two-alarm fire late Saturday.

Doucette said crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly in the classroom, preventing it from spreading throughout the school. He said the fire caused minor damage to the attic and classroom.

A neighbor heard the alarm at the school go off at 10:43 p.m., and firefighters arrived in time to knock down the blaze, officials said.

No one was injured in the fire.

Vince Matranga, sergeant in charge of Sacramento City Unified School District police, said one or two computers were damaged.
