North Lake Tahoe residents are invited to attend a community meeting Thursday to provide input about the proposed redevelopment of the Tahoe Biltmore area.
Boulder Bay LLC proposes to build a destination resort on the 14-acre site of the existing Tahoe Biltmore Lodge and Casino and the former Mariner Hotel and Casino.
The developer has scheduled the meeting to discuss concepts for the project, which is still in the planning process.
The objective is to create a mixed-use community that reduces the focus on gambling and increases opportunities for year-round outdoor wellness, according to a Boulder Bay news release.
The meeting will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Biltmore, 5 Highway 28, Crystal Bay.
The project team will lead a site tour from the Biltmore lobby at 5:30 p.m.
More information on the project is available at Boulder Bay's Web site, www.boulderbayresort.com, or by calling Brian Helm at (775) 313-6903.
