GRASS VALLEY About 1,500 gallons of sewage overflowed from a manhole at Sierra Fitness Center in Grass Valley on Monday. A blocked line caused 500 gallons to reach Matson Creek, Rick Beckley of the city's sewage treatment plant said in a notification.
The line was cleared and cleanup completed by 7:30 p.m., about 1.5 hours after the overflow was reported by the city's Police Department, he said.
