FOLSOM Charges against Barry Pino, arrested in 2006 on suspicion of committing lewd acts with a child, have been dismissed, according to court records made available Monday.
After about a year and a half of legal proceedings, a jury deadlocked 10-2 in favor of acquittal on Feb. 29, court records show. On March 13, the charges against Pino were formally dismissed.
Pino was arrested Nov. 8, 2006, at the Cameron Park Ace Hardware he owns on six felony charges stemming from accusations by the child, now a teenager.
