The on-again, off-again plan to demolish the aging drive-in theater along Bradshaw Road is delayed again.
Sacramento 6 is the last drive-in theater in the region.
In response to last-minute concerns raised by the property owner the sharing of the private road Oates Drive Sacramento County's Board of Supervisors delayed their decision on the plans. The board is expected to take up the item again May 14.
The project, on the northwest corner of Bradshaw Road and Highway 50, would encompass 439,700 square feet of retail, including 20 screen, 3,860 seat movie theater.
Sacramento 6 opened June 28, 1973. According to Drive-Ins.com its the last of nine drive-in operating within the cities of Sacramento and West Sacramento.
