Sacramento County

Key agenda item: Plans to tear down the Sacramento 6 drive-in - the region's last outdoor movie theater - and replace it with an $116.5 million retail and indoor movie complex. The item was put over last week after the property owner who shares an adjoining private road said the theater's owners didn't have the legal right to add thousands of extra cars to Oates Drive.

El Dorado County Board of Supervisors

Key agenda item: Update on issues related to Joe's Skate Park at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, including contracting with a professional skate park management firm to oversee the operation.

Other issues: Request by Supervisor Ron Briggs to designate county staff members to work with Sacramento County Airport System representatives on issues related to jet noise.

Folsom City Council

Key agenda item: Appoint a subcommittee to review 800 names that have been submitted for the new bridge over the American River below Folsom Dam. The committee will create a pared-down list for the council to consider June 10.

Sacramento County Office of Education

Key agenda item: Award high school diplomas to U.S. veterans and Japanese American citizens who didn't complete high school because they were serving in the military or interned during World War II.

Galt Joint Union High School District

Key agenda item: Vote on whether to waive the competitive bidding process for the sale of the Sousa property. The district hopes to sell the 25-acre lot near Woodson and lower Sacramento roads for $1.5 million.

El Dorado Irrigation District Board

Key agenda item: Workshop to review a draft agreement with the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians to provide up to 135,000 gallons of water per day to the Shingle Springs Rancheria. The agreement would allow the tribe to serve the Red Hawk Casino, scheduled to open late this year, with district water, rather than bringing water in by truck.
