Girl, 16, assaulted on walk to school in Rancho Cordova

Authorities are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl Wednesday morning in Rancho Cordova.
According to a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department news release, the girl was walking to school around 7:40 a.m. when she passed a vehicle parked on Mills Tower Drive.
She heard two men talking in Spanish as she passed the car. One of the men offered her a ride, which she declined.
One of the men then got out of the vehicle, grabbed the girl from behind and sexually assaulted her, the sheriff's department said. The victim managed to run away from the man after a brief struggle.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a red button-up shirt, dark brown pants and tan construction boots. He was unshaven and had short brown hair. The victim did not see the second suspect.
