Rancho Cordova City Council

Key agenda item: Hearing on a proposed one-year extension of a moratorium on establishing, expanding, or relocating new and existing massage establishments. The moratorium was initiated in July 2007 while city officials considered new zoning rules and regulations.

El Dorado County Board of Supervisors

Key agenda item: Receive a report regarding the county's property tax augmentation to fire departments and discuss whether to include them in the proposed 2008-09 budget. The grand jury earlier this month recommended that the county discontinue supplements to six rural departments and encourage them to consolidate or merge with larger department.

Placerville Planning Commission

Cameron Park Community Services District Board

Key agenda item: Discussion of proposed amendments to the general plan designed to speed up the permitting process for new construction. Key agenda item: Vote on a resolution authorizing the sale of up to $45 million in Community Facility District No. 1 bonds.

Other issues: The board also will be asked to approve budget reductions for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 school years.

Meeting: The special meeting will be held between 6 and 6:30 p.m., followed by a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert L. Trigg Education Center, 9510 Elk Grove-Florin Rd.
