A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving today after allegedly speeding through a gated community in Rocklin and being involved in a rollover accident, police reported.
The incident occurred about 2:30 a.m. in the area of Hillcrest and Aaron roads, said Rocklin Police Lt. Lon Milka.
The driver and a 19-year-old passenger were found bleeding and sitting near a 2002 Chevy pickup that was lying on its side, Milka said.
An investigation showed that the truck struck a curb and then hit a rock wall before rolling over, he said.
Both occupants were taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center and treated for their injuries, he said.
The driver, Jeffrey Michael Flemate, was booked into the Placer County jail in Auburn on suspicion of driving under the influence and of DUI causing injury.
