Starbucks is closing 600 of its stores nationwide over the next several months.
But which ones? The company says it isn't disclosing that info yet - "out of respect" for its employees. However, the Seattle Times is running a feature that lists stores that will be shuttered, based on reports it's hearing from employees and suppliers.
On the list: the store at 1520 Del Webb Blvd. in Lincoln. An employee there confirmed the Times' scoop. When will the place shut down? "We'll know when we get our 30-day notice," the employee said.
We like the Times' approach on this and we'll play the game, too. Heard of another local Starbucks that is closing? E-mail Bob Shallit at bshallit@sacbee.com or call him at 321-1049.
