A dealership carrying a line of electric cars, trucks and scooters manufactured by Santa Rosa-based Zap will open in Rancho Cordova on Aug. 23.
Vehicles available at Cost Less Auto Inc., 1940 Zinfandel Dr., will include the Zap Xebra, a three-wheeled vehicle that uses no gasoline.
The Xebra, which comes in both sedan and truck configurations, is designed to be driven at slower speeds with a maximum of 40 miles per hour.
Manufacturer's suggested retail prices range from $11,700 to $12,500.
