New Red Hawk Casino is looking to hire workers

The soon-to-open Red Hawk Casino will host a job fair Sept. 21-22 at its temporary employment and training center in El Dorado Hills.

The casino, operated by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians, is scheduled to open in the final quarter of this year along Highway 50 outside Placerville.

Those who apply for jobs online in advance will be interviewed by casino representatives for open positions.

Job fair hours will be noon to 5 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 22 at 1117 Windfield Way, just south of the Latrobe Road exit off Highway 50.

The casino is encouraging job candidates to create a profile and fill out an application at www.redhawkcasino.com.

People without computer access can visit the center on Windfield Way to fill out an application online.
