New poll, same results. Two New Yorkers - Sen. Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani - top the pack of presidential hopefuls in the Democratic and Republican presidential primaries, according to a new poll of California voters released by the Survey and Policy Research Institute at San Jose State University.

Clinton's support grew from 37 percent in a June poll to 42 percent in October as she "dominates every demographic and geographic portion of the state except for the youngest, most infrequent voters," according to the poll.

Illinois Sen. Barack Obama and former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards trail with 20 and 14 percent support, respectively.

On the Republican side, Giuliani counts 34 percent support, following by Arizona Sen. John McCain (14 percent), former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (11 percent) and newly entered Fred Thompson (7 percent).
