DEAR SHOPPING: After trying many concealers for dark circles, I found the Amazing Cosmetics line sold in the Soft Surroundings catalog. Could you find out if any business in Sacramento sells this product, as it is the best one for me. It really does the job.

– Elinor, Sacramento

DEAR ELINOR: You're definitely in luck. The Amazing Cosmetics line is sold at ULTA stores, and there are quite a few in the area, from Folsom to Elk Grove to Roseville. The one in Sacramento is in the Howe 'Bout Arden Shopping Center at 2100 Arden Way. I spoke with a sales associate who agrees with you that it's a very good concealing line. And if you shop in the store, you'll get a better sense of which products work best for your skin tone. The store's hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

For shoppers who like ordering online, Amazing Cosmetics is also available at www.sephora.com and www.qvc.com.

DEAR SHOPPING: I read the question about teens struggling to find stylish long jeans. They at least have it a little better than I did. A few years ago, I stumbled upon this a Web site, www.denimexpress.com. They sell Levis, L.E.I. and Silver jeans in junior sizes and long lengths. L.E.I. and Levis cost around $30 a pair; the Silver brand jeans are $60. They also offer free shipping on orders over $70 and don't charge sales tax on orders to California. Of course, the only drawback is that you can't try them on first, but for those who know their size it's entirely worth it. Also, don't forget about Old Navy. For taller women, try www.longelegantlegs.com. Hope this helps.

– Avril, Mather

DEAR AVRIL: Thanks for the additional sources. Not everyone is size 6 and 5-foot-7.

DEAR READERS: Because of a technological error, all the recent e-mails sent to shopping@sacbee.com have been deleted. So shoppers, I need your help. If you still have requests/questions/ concerns, please send a new e-mail to the above address. Letters are still welcome. Thanks!
