This database shows the number of California adults under 65 without health insurance during 2008 for nearly every profession, according to new U.S. Census numbers. Notes: The source of these numbers is the U.S. Census Bureau's 2008 American Community Survey
Public Use Microdata Sample. Since data is based on sampling, it's at its most reliable when there are a large number of workers in a chosen field. In other words, data shown for professions with very few workers, say, for instance, Radiation Therapists, should be taken with a grain of salt.
