On the Move: Teresa to head division of Building Material Distributors

Mike Teresa has joined Building Material Distributors Inc. as executive general manager of the building products division. He is a former chief operating officer of Shasta Industries and brings nearly 20 years of experience to the position.

Association Resource Center has hired Brad Walker as executive director of the California Sign Association, Sandra Giarde as executive director for the California Association for the Education of Young Children and Karen Polastri as executive director for the Occupational Therapy Association of California.

Greg Cutler has been hired as assistant vice president of leasing at McClellan Business Park.

Unify Corp. has named Steve Soren as vice president of business development.

Steve Hardy, director of the state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, has appointed Matthew Botting as general counsel and Robert Wieworka as chief prosecuting counsel.

Richard A. Harris Jr. has been hired as director of high-tech crime training services team for SEARCH, the national consortium for justice information and statistics.

Andrew P. Tauriainen has joined Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard as an associate attorney in the resources law department.

Debra Smith has been promoted to associate studio leader at Anova Architects Inc. She works in the higher education studio.

Weintraub Genshlea Chediak has hired Zachary J. Wadle as an associate attorney in the litigation and intellectual property practice group.

Nacht & Lewis Architects has hired De Ann Splinter as senior project coordinator, Peter Dahlmann as project coordinator and Kevin Miller as project coordinator.

Ted Buchmiller has joined Ecom Engineering as a telecommunications project manager.

Rabobank has named Nancy Abreu as commercial real estate division manager.

The following have joined Mercy Medical Group in the greater Sacramento region: Dr. Andrew Katz, pediatrician; Dr. Monica Kasrazadeh, obstetrician and gynecologist; Dr. Myo Thet Lwin, hospitalist; Dr. M. Asim Mahmood, neurologist; Dr. Samantha Mullins, podiatrist; Brenda Perry, nurse practitioner in occupational medicine; Dr. Jennifer Redd, obstetrician and gynecologist; Dr. Tanuja Raju, obstetrician and gynecologist; Dr. Mohammed Shareef, hospitalist; Dr. Jeffrey Sweat, plastic surgeon; Dr. Ghalib Wahidi, hospitalist; Dr. Patricia Wiggins, occupational medicine.

Runyon Saltzman & Einhorn has hired Angela D'Arcy as an account assistant and promoted Alanna Sloan to account manager.

Perry-Smith LLP has promoted Alexis Fitzpatrick and Scott Sachs to vice president positions. The firm has hired the following associates: Stephen Buckner; Erin Snyder; Lorinda Romero; and Nolan Hunter. They work in the audit department.

Kershaw, Cutter & Ratinoff LLP has hired John R. Parker and Ian M. Hunter as associates.
