Asbestos project funds sought

The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday will consider authorizing an agreement to secure funding for the Naturally Occurring Asbestos Project, in cooperation with the state Department of Toxic Substances Control.

At 2 p.m., the board will take up rezone requests and development plans for property in El Dorado Hills and the Bass Lake Hills Specific Plan area. They include a proposal to create 11 commercial parcels in the Suncast Professional Center in El Dorado Hills; 123 lots in the Hawk View subdivision in the Bass Lake Hills Specific Plan area; 124 lots in the Bell Ranch development in El Dorado Hills; and 56 residential lots in Bell Woods in the Bass Lake Hills Specific Plan area.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the board room, 330 Fair Lane, Building A, Placerville.
