The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors, acting as the Air Quality Management District board, is scheduled to adopt new rules to control construction dust and reduce the impacts of naturally occurring asbestos.
The board continued a June 28 hearing on the proposed rules to allow staff members to respond to questions. The item will be taken up at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Tuesday's meeting will begin at 9 a.m. The board also has scheduled a special session at 2 p.m. Monday to receive information from the sheriff on employee recruitment and retention and facility needs.
Both meetings will be held in the board meeting room, 330 Fair Lane, Building A, Placerville.
