Database: Sacramento Metro Job Outlook

The recession has dramatically changed the Sacramento job market. Shifting demographics and technology will change it even more. The jobs with the fastest growth over the next decade are largely the jobs that will cater to the needs of elderly baby boomers. Many disappearing jobs will become victim to automation, efficiency and outsourcing.

This database shows the job outlook for more than 700 career paths in the Sacramento region, according to new projections from the Employment Development Department. Updated Nov. 11, 2010 ...
