People find a lot of different ways to get into trouble at California's state parks. Sure, there's the visitors who commit mundane sins like speeding on a park road or playing music too loud at night. But there's also been a big increase in vandalism. Other crimes range from disturbing to weird. What goes on at your favorite park? Use this database to see every infraction reported by law enforcement during 2008.

Note: This database shows all reported crimes, not just just those that resulted in citation or arrest. The state listed most of the infractions in this database by their state code citation -- PC 187, for example. The Bee converted dozens of the most common codes to a written description. You can usually look up codes without a description here or here.
