Monitor Pass (number 4 on our map) is beginning to show some nice color. A week ago very little was turning. We should get two weekends worth of nice shooting in this area. The road from Hwy 4/89 split has no color so you’ll be making a destination out of this stop. There is no color yet between here and Conway Summit. Bring a lunch and enjoy the day. You can buy a lunch at the Deli in Woodfords. Nice folks too. This photo was made on September 28, 2010 with a Canon 70-200mm zoom lens at 145mm on a Canon 5D MkII full frame sensor camera.
