The color in the basin on the road up to Lake Sabrina on the North Fork of Bishop Creek is in great color right now. Lake Sabrina is perfect this weekend. I just hope it lasts through my photo workshop on Oct 8-10. The color all over is really vivid due to the hot days and cold nights. I hope we don’t get snow showers like last year. This photo was made on September 29, 2010 with a Canon 24-105mm zoom lens at 24mm on a Canon 5D MkII full frame sensor camera. The exposure was 1/180 sec. at f-9.5 using ISO 400 and a polarizing filter mounted on a tripod. For information on using filters, please check our Tips and Techniques section.
