June Lake and all the lakes on the June Lake Loop are very green. It’s a nice road to take if you want gas or food but color is at least a week away from beginning to turn. Spend your time in the Bishop Creek to Rock Creek areas for the best color. This photo was made on September 30, 2010 with a Canon 24-105mm zoom lens at 28mm on a Canon 5D MkII full frame sensor camera. The exposure was 1/90 sec. at f-11 using ISO 400 and filter.
