The peaks and color in upper Rock Creek Canyon (stop 15) are just magnificent. The lower half of the canyon is real green. It is worth the long drive back to the lake too. This photo was made on September 30, 2010 with a Canon 70-200mm zoom lens at 200mm on a Canon 5D MkII full frame sensor camera.
