Overcast days create soft diffused light along South Bishop Creek (stop 19) which offer the photographer the chance to shoot foliage without harsh contrast created by sun light. Overcast days allow you to shoot all day long without worrying about which direction the sun is illuminating your subject. This photo was made on October 1, 2010 with a Canon 70-200mm zoom lens at 100mm on a Canon 5D MkII full frame sensor camera. The exposure was 1/2 sec. at f-16 using ISO 100 and no polarizing filter.
