The color cascading down the hillside at North Lake resembles a lava flow. But this is a foliage flow. It’s very impressive. The scrub color was better last weekend and these trees here won’t have their leaves by next weekend. This photo was made on October 8, 2010 with a Canon 24-105mm zoom lens set at 28mm on a Canon 5D MkII full frame sensor camera.
