Our workshop group did another sunrise this morning. I was 50º compared to yesterday’s 24º. Mountain sunrises aren’t as interesting as those in the valley. this was made about 30 minutes before sunrise and we caught the alpenglow just right. Then it was off to McGee Creek! This photo was made on October 10, 2010 with a Canon 24mm tilt/shift lens on a Canon 5D MkII full frame sensor camera. The exposure was 15 sec. at f-2 using ISO 400 and a one-stop graduated neutral density filter.
