This is the weekend everyone has been waiting for. The peak weekend is here for the east end of Hope Valley. Mow your lawn next weekend. Come now. The color here is magical. It is almost impossible to take a photo of it because it is so beautiful. Well, that is not going to happen so bring lots of formatted memory cards, pack a lunch and plan on spending the day here and at Motif No.1 (the cabin). Round out the day with a quick trip to Monitor Pass and you will will have seen it all. This is the perfect weekend for Hope Valley. It makes a nice day trip as well. This photo was made on October 15, 2010 with a Canon 24-105mm zoom lens set at 40mm on a Canon 5D MkII full frame sensor camera.
