095 South Fork Color

Bee/Dave Henry
The color is so intense today along the South Fork of Bishop Creek, I am hoping I have enough memory cards to capture it all. Everywhere I turn I see color. There are so many photogenic areas along this creek. I am concerned that the upcoming storms will not treat these leaves well. This photo was made on October 16, 2010 with a Canon 24-105mm zoom lens set at 28mm on a Canon 5D MkII full frame sensor camera. The exposure was 1/125 sec. at f-9.5 using ISO 400 and a polarizing filter. For information on exposure, lighting, filters and composition, please check our Tips and Techniques section.
