    It's not clear whether Arnold Schwarzenegger will take his grizzly bear when he leaves office. The governor bought the 800-pound bronze sculpture at an Aspen, Colo., gallery last year and had it installed in the hallway outside his suite of offices in the Capitol.

    Mark Crosse Fresno Bee Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Thursday honored the Good Samaritan who authorities say chased down a kidnapper and helped free an 8-year-old Fresno girl. In a ceremony at Fresno City Hall, Schwarzenegger called Fresno resident Victor Perez a hero and made a pitch for local businesses to hire the unemployed man. Perez, in his car, pursued the alleged kidnapper's pickup truck and eventually rescued the girl. Police later arrested Gregorio Gonzalez, 24.
