These are 'Glee'-ful days indeed

They're show babies, full of verve and vocal skill. They gotta be them, while singing really famous people's pop songs.

"Glee" is a Fox musical dramedy and a movement – one that lobbies for the underdog, one's right to sing to the rafters, and the beauty of a well-placed quip.

The next few days promise a bonanza for Sacramento "Gleeks." Tonight, the "Glee" cast will bring its covers, mash-ups and general lovability to Power Balance Pavilion in "Glee Live! In Concert!" Tuesday marks the release of "Glee, the Music: Vol. 6" and the series Season 2 finale, with Nationals! In New York!

Here's a by-the-numbers look at the show-choir phenomenon:

1: 3-D concert film in the works, being shot during the cast's current North American tour.

2: Solo albums from cast members. "Pipe Dream," from Mark Salling (Puck), released last year, and Matthew Morrison's (Mr. Schuester) self-titled CD, released two weeks ago.

3: Total number of "Glee" feature films to which the cast reportedly is contractually obliged.

4: Emmys. For sound mixing, Jane Lynch's portrayal of Cheerio chief Sue Sylvester, series co-creator Ryan Murphy's direction of the pilot episode, and Neil Patrick Harris' guest appearance on the show.

4: Gay characters, in Kurt (Chris Colfer), his boyfriend, Blaine (Darren Criss), Cheerio-turned-songbird Santana (Naya Rivera) and recovering bully Karofsky (Max Adler). That's an extraordinary number for a network show, and it's not even counting Rachel's gay dads.

5: DVD and Blu-ray sets drawn from the show. Did we mention Season 2 is not yet over?

21 million: Sales of digital singles from "Glee," whose cast members have made the Billboard top 100 more often that Elvis or the Beatles.
