For Friday morning's groundbreaking ceremony, Pat Derickson, president of Stafford King Wiese Architects, sets up an artist's rendition of The Met Sacramento High School as it will look next year after remodeling, with energy-efficient windows and lighting, new plumbing and heating, and countertops made with recycled glass.
