The deals: Handformed sliders made fresh to order are a buck apiece, and well drinks and domestic pints are $2. On Mondays, get steak or chicken tacos served with melting cheese. They come with two kinds of housemade salsa and are a buck apiece.

The deals: Bombay Bar and Grill serves up dishes that pair Indian flavors with a modern sensibility to tempt the adventurous eater. Fries tossed in aromatic spices are $2.95. Clay oven-barbecued chicken wings are $3.95. More traditional dishes include chicken pakora – chicken fritters battered in chickpea flour – for $3.95, and masala papadaam, which is roasted papaya with onion, tomatoes and cilantro, for $1.95. Well drinks are $3 and Pabst is $1.50.

The deals: This easy-to-understand menu features $4 items. If it's on the happy hour menu, it's $4. Stella, Widmer, Fat Tire and Full Sail drafts? Four bucks. Bogle merlot and chardonnay, and well liquors? Four clams. Fried calamari with lemon aioli or neighborhood favorite Buffalo wings? Take just one guess.
