• A photo caption on page B1 Sunday with a story about WynSpring Family Resource Center's Diva Day incorrectly identified Chayil McFalls as a former foster child who has been adopted. Chayil, 6, who has never been in foster care, attended the event as a volunteer.
• Due to incorrect information supplied by the California Highway Patrol, a story Tuesday on page B3 incorrectly said the mother of two children injured in a crash left with the driver of the vehicle. California Highway Patrol spokesman Officer Michael Bradley now says there was initial confusion over who left the scene. He said the mother was among the injured taken by ambulance to UC Davis Medical Center, as were the two children.
• The State Worker column on page A3 Thursday reported Steve Maviglio retired in 2008 with an enhanced pension while working for Assembly Speaker Fabian Núñez. While the "golden handshake" was offered during Núñez's speakership, Karen Bass was Assembly speaker when Maviglio retired.

• Don't repeat the same comment over and over. We heard you the first time.
• Do not use the commenting system for advertising. That's spam and it isn't allowed.
• Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
• Don't flag other users' comments just because you don't agree with their point of view. Please only flag comments that violate these guidelines.
