Cats take last three games from Grizzlies

Turning point: A five-run second inning lifted Sacramento to a 6-4 victory over host Fresno on Sunday night. The River Cats won the final three games of the five-game series to finish with a 6-10 record against their Highway 99 rivals this season.

Major league moment: Jermaine Mitchell led off the game with his fifth home run, extending his hitting streak to 14 games.

Take a bow: Five days after earning the victory in Sacramento's division-clinching win at Tucson, River Cats starter Travis Banwart allowed two runs over six innings. He allowed one hit over the first five innings.

Worth noting: Sacramento concludes the home portion of its regular season schedule with a four-game series against Las Vegas starting tonight. The River Cats have won 11 of their past 15 home games.

Upcoming: Tonight, Sacramento LHP Carlos Hernandez (7-7, 5.63 ERA) vs. Las Vegas RHP Kyle Drabek (4-3, 6.51), 7:05 p.m., Raley Field.
