. In place of the hot tub, on top of the concrete slab, I envisioned and designed a shady, Craftsman-inspired pergola with ferns, fountain and a ceiling fan. My woodworker husband and his carpenter friend made my dream a reality. Mornings are now long and peaceful in this lovely, inviting outdoor room.
