Not everything has to be fall colors, right? Like I tell my workshop students, we shoot before dawn and after sunset and everything in between. This is a star trail photo. The other night sky photo we sometimes take is referred to as star fields where the stars are pinpoints of light. Star trails show the earths rotation. This photo was made on September 27, 2011 with a Canon 5D MkII camera using a Canon 15mm fisheye lens. The exposure was 20 minutes at f/5.6 using ISO 400.
