The trees at the east end of North Lake are peak today. I hope they last through the weekend because I have a photo group coming in. Using a polarizing filter and a 1-stop graduated neutral density filter to hold back the trees in the top of the photo enhances the reflection in the water. This photo was made on September 28, 2011 with a Canon 5D MkII camera using a Canon 24-105mm zoom set to 58mm. The exposure was 1/90 sec. at f/16 using ISO 400 with a Polarizing and 1-stop graduated neutral density filters. For more information on exposure and filters, check our Tips and Techniques section.
