North Lake is still green with just a hint of yellow. My guess is that the second weekend in October will be peak color. The lava flow is very green with two small areas beginning to turn. This photo was made on September 28, 2011 with a Canon 5D MkII camera using a Canon 24-105mm zoom set to 28mm. The exposure was 1/60 sec. at f/11 using ISO 400 with a Polarizing filter.
