037 Bishop Creek Water Blur

Bee/Dave Henry
I like to teach how to make motion water blurs in my workshops because it is a wonderful technique to master. It can be used in any landscape photo trip and increases the number of photo ops in the day and always draws approvals from viewers. This photo was made on September 30, 2011 with a Canon 5D MkII camera using a Canon 24-105mm zoom set to 28mm. The exposure was 1.5 sec. at f/22 using ISO 50 with a Polarizing filter. For more information on exposure and water blurs, check our Tips and Techniques section.
