Overnight last night the storm in the Sierra had cleared. Despite the ice and sheer drop-off, I wanted to see North Lake in pristine condition. I wasn’t disappointed. It was like magic. This photo was made on October 7, 2011 with a Canon 5D MkII camera using the Canon 24-105mmL IS zoom set to 28mm. The exposure was 1/125 sec. at f/16 using ISO 400 and a polarizing filter.
