The approach to Conway Summit from the north can be deceiving because the composition shows a lot of green left to turn. We should see excellent color in this area for the next week and a half. This photo was made on October 14, 2011 with a Canon 5D MkII camera using the Canon 24-105mmL IS zoom set to 100mm. The exposure was 1/90 sec. at f/11 using ISO 400 and a polarizing filter.
