The colors finally appeared at North Lake. They are a bit muted from the last couple years but nice still. It is definitely worth the drive up to it. This photo was made on October 15, 2011 with a Canon 5D MkII camera using the Canon 24-105mmL IS zoom set to 24mm. The exposure was 1/180 sec. at f/11 using ISO 400 and a polarizing filter.
