Having already set up the camera, I waited for this fisherman to float by. Exposure was pre determined and all I had to do was squeeze off the shutter. I placed a two-stop Graduated Neutral Density filter at an angle to match the slope of the color just above the lake shoreline. This photo was made on October 16, 2011 with a Canon 5D MkII camera using the Canon 24-105mmL zoom set to 47mm. The exposure was 1/30 sec. at f/11 using ISO 400 and a two-stop Graduated Neutral Density filter.
