The story in Yosemite is the great color of the big leaf maples. These trees loose their leaves very fast. The good news is that they will be in good color through the up-coming week but will loose them quickly after that. This photo was made on October 22, 2011 with a Canon 5D MkII camera using the Canon 24-105mmL zoom set to 105mm. The exposure was 1/60 sec. at f/8 using ISO 1600.
