• 10 a.m.-5 p.m. - The exhibit "Gandhi, King, Ikeda: A Legacy of Building Peace," featuring photographs, quotations and historical information, delivers a message about individual leadership and the difference that one person can make in promoting peace through nonviolent action. It continues at Christ Unity of Sacramento, 9249 Folsom Blvd.
• 5:30-7:30 p.m. - The Luis Palau Sacramento Festival - an effort to unify churches in the region - begins with an event at Capital Christian Center, 9470 Micron Ave.
MONDAY
Sacramento
• 8 a.m.-noon - March for the Dream begins at Oak Park Community Center, 3425 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., at Sacramento City College, 3835 Freeport Blvd., and Grant High School, 1400 Grand Ave., and concludes at Sacramento Convention Center, 1400 J St. Festivities at the Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. include job fair, health and education booths and arts and crafts vendors.
• 10:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. - A celebration featuring regional choirs and a screening and discussion of the PBS documentary "Not in Our Town: Light in the Darkness" is at the Crocker Art Museum, 216 O St.
•2 p.m. - Occupy Sacramento plans an “Occupy the Dream” rally at in Cesar E. Chavez Plaza, where there will be teach-ins, speeches and discussions on a variety of topics. Refreshments will also be available.
